Lucifer (IMDB : 8.2/10)

Lucifer, the Lord of Hell, decides to take a vacation on earth. He arrives in Los Angeles with the firm intention to enjoy life away from his father, God. By a strange coincidence, he will cross the road of a police inspector immune to his diabolical charm. As funny as it is crazy, the cult series has just made a comeback on Netflix for a wild and mysterious season 4. For the moment, the VOD service has not yet confirmed the return of the series for a fifth part.
  • For fans of cop show and demon stories
  • Best of all, Tom Ellis!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (IMDB : 7.8/10)

In this daring remake of the cult series of the 90s, young Sabrina no longer evolves in a colorful or naive environment. In place of the enthusiastic jokes of Salem the cat, we discover a dark, glaucous and terribly fascinating universe. Before starting "The New Adventures of Sabrina" on Netflix, we advise you to forget everything you know about Sabrina. This is the big surprise of the catalog. Special mention in season 2, which really goes to the end of his ideas! The show will be back for a 3rd season but no date has been set yet.

  • For fans of witchcraft and horror movies
  • Cherry on the cake: its generic stuffed with references and creativity!

You (IMDB : 8.1/10)

You tell us the story of Joe, a bookseller New York quite ordinary ... or almost. One day, he falls madly in love with Beck, a young student. Literally obsessed, the nice Joe will quickly turn into a dangerous stalker, ready for anything to take care of his sweetheart. Is it a scary thriller or a wonderful love story? We let you judge. On our side, we devoured this first season very successful in one go! After his cliffhanger end of season, You will obviously return for a 2nd season by the end of 2019.
  • To book for everyone!
  • Best of all: Penn Badgley's performance and voiceover.

The Umbrella Academy (IMDB : 8.2/10)

One day, 43 women who are not pregnant gave birth to a baby. Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a mysterious billionaire, adopted 7 of these unexpected children. Over time, they will develop special powers and abilities. As adults, they leave the manor to live on their own. At the death of their adoptive father, the 7 prodigy children return to the fold ... to prevent the end of the world. Unfortunately, it's (much) more complicated than that! We really advise you to watch The Umbrella Academy, whether for its well-crafted screenplay, amazing characters or 4-star cast. The series has been renewed for a season 2.

  • A book for: fans of quirky universe and fantastic
  • The icing on the cake: the soundtrack and the characters (special mention to Klaus)

Stranger Things (IMDB : 8.9/10)

Dark (IMDB : 8.6/10)

A true metaphysical puzzle, Dark offers one of the most ambitious scenarios in the Netflix catalog. By blending brilliantly the past, present and future, the series of German origin recounts the mysterious disappearance of several children near a disturbing nuclear power station. If you love to build theories and debate with your entourage, Dark is for you. Dark Season 1 is currently available on Netflix. Season 2 will be back on Netflix on Friday, June 21st, 2019.

  • To book: time travel lovers
  • The icing on the cake: the scenario with little onions

13 reasons Why (IMDB : 8.1/10)

Bold and crying with realism, 13 Reasons Why opens with the suicide of 16-year-old Hannah Baker. In the 13 episodes of season 1, the series focused on the 13 reasons that pushed the girl to end his life. Particularly destabilizing, 13 Reasons Why is always very fair and will surely get you some tears. Season 2 does not demerit, especially thanks to its narrative arc particularly well built. Season 3 will arrive in the second half of this year.

  • To advise against sensitive souls
  • The icing on the cake: the soundness of its sound scenario

La Casa de Papel (IMDB : 8.6/10)

An unexpected phenomenon of 2018, Casa de Papel tells the story of a gang of brave robbers who besiege the Royal House of the Spanish Mint in Madrid. The 8 robbers, led by their mentor, called El Profesor, will have to face many adventures. Casa de Papel is a program that has been broadcast on Spanish TV. Real phenomenon on the Iberian lands, Netflix has sniffed the good shot and bought the broadcast rights. Originally the program was broadcast in one go. Netflix broke it down into 22 episodes over two seasons. A season 3 is planned. We look forward to it!

  • To book to: to everyone
  • The icing on the cake: the scenario rich in twists and endearing characters

Sex Education (IMDB : 8.4/10)

Son of a liberated sexologist, Otis paradoxically has a lot of trouble to be interested in the thing, like any other teenager. Worse, he can not masturbate either. His meeting with the beautiful Maeve will finally upset his relationship to the world and his little peaceful existence. Very attentive, he will set up in his high school sex therapy sessions for teens. Always funny, never vulgar, Sex Education mixes light topics and social problems with great finesse. Not surprisingly, Netflix has renewed the series for a second season.

  • To reserve to: open minds!
  • The icing on the cake: casting and replicas

What if (IMDB : 6.4/10)

A penniless young couple at the head of a potentially revolutionary start-up is approached by a wealthy businesswoman, Anne Montgomery (Renée Zellweger). Against all odds, she agrees to fund their project, supposed to cure cancer. In exchange, she demands to spend one night with Sean, the husband of the couple ... After many hesitations, they will accept the indecent proposal of Montgomery, thus signing the beginning of a slow descent into hell. As perverse as it is distressing, the series relies on a complex scenario and an effective realization to paint a sad portrait of the human soul. Glazing.

  • To book for: thrill-seekers
  • The icing on the cake: Renée Zellweger as a soulless femme fatale
