Donald Trump accuses Google of wanting to prevent his reelection. In a series of heated tweets, the current president of the United States has increased attacks against the Californian firm. Citing Kevin Cernekee, a former engineer at Google, Trump believes the company is doing everything possible to manipulate the results of the US elections in 2020.

In his tweet, Trump mixes and lists several accusations made in the past. Donald Trump had already promised to open an investigation on the subject without saying more. Apparently, Sundar Pichai was forced to raise the subject in an interview with the US leader.

Donald Trump also accuses Google of wanting to favor Hilary Clinton, the Democratic candidate, in the elections of 2016. This is not the first time that the businessman is vehemently attacking Google. In August 2018, Trump was already accusing Google News of rigging search results by highlighting left-wing media content and censoring right-wing, Republican and conservative content.

Trump claims to base his assertions on the statements of Kevin Cernekee, a former engineer at Google. Licensed in 2018, the man assured in an interview with Fox News television that Google is doing everything to block the road Donald Trump. "They really want Donald Trump to fail in 2020," said Kevin Cernekee, whose conservative and extremist views are no secret. He is a member of several white supremacist groups. "I saw abused, abused and harassed employees for sharing a Conservative point of view," says the engineer.

According to Trump, Google has the intention to manipulate the US elections of 2020 to prevent re-election. "All this is illegal. We are watching Google closely, "concludes Donald Trump. Last year, Google had already defended itself for trying to destroy Donald Trump's reputation by manipulating search results. "Google has never manipulated the search results or changed any of its products to promote a particular political ideology, neither during the current election campaign, nor during the elections of 2016" ensured the firm.

@sundarpichai of Google was in the Oval Office working very hard to explain how much he liked me, what a great job the Administration is doing, that Google was not involved with China’s military, that they didn’t help Crooked Hillary over me in the 2016 Election, and that they…— Donald J.
